This collection is an ode to nature and Renaissance’s most famous painting of Botticelli’s Primavera. The pastoral scenery in Primavera is so elaborate that when I first saw the painting I was mesmerized. I remember myself as a child counting the flowers in the picture. The overall number of identified flowers in the painting is hundredandninety and I could only depict some of these flowers in different jewelry pieces. I will keep on developing this collection as flowers and nature are my main source of inspiration. I hope you enjoy taking a look at this collection. Inspired by the blooming sakuras of spring this pendant was made during quarantine. A piece I created for an artist’s gift exchange project with the “upcycling” theme and scrap metal pieces in the studio were intentionally used to make the flower. Traditional jewelry-making techniques are used to reach a full sphere out of half spheres. Made of sterling silver and colored with vitreous enamel.
